On Tuesday, my friends, Christine & Katie, two food bloggers looking for any excuse to talk food, invited me for the second time, to Google Hangout, to talk salmon and sustainability.

In our first salmon Google hangout, we talked about sustainability, farmed vs. wild, cooking, eating, and other fishy business.

In Tuesday’s chat, we wanted to continue the conversation about what sustainability means. We talked about what to look for in the market now that the 2012 salmon season is closed, and trends in the future of sustainable fish. In addition, I offer a few wild salmon recipe ideas for the holidays that will fill you up, not fill you out. Plus we offer a sneak peek of our next seafood Google hangout topic.
