One of the largest seafood shows of the year ended March 18 in Boston.

I’m not going to regale you with details about what I learned, ate and saw, who I met, or the newest, latest and greatest in sustainable seafood.

But only because I didn’t go.

Don’t get me wrong, I wanted to attend Seafood Expo North America #SENA14 (formerly International Boston Seafood Show).

The usual suspects got in the way. Time, resources, and oh yeah, my day job.

(Just a quick shout out to Pangea Shellfish for offering me passes to the show. Thank you!!!)

I know it was a great show. But you don’t have to take my word for it, listen as Lindsay, from National Fisheries Institute explains what happened.

Now, another reason I didn’t go to #SENA14 was because (yes, I’m mentioning it again), I’m booked for Cooking for Solution/Sustainable Seafood Institute (again) this May in Monterey.

And I just couldn’t resist sharing this video, Monterey Bay Aquarium’s newest exhibit.

“Tentacles” opens April 12.

Don’t take my word for it, go see for yourself.

So until I catch up on the latest and greatest sustainable seafood news from #SENA14 on the web, see you next week.
