Sweet Spicy Rock Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 pound fresh, raw rock shrimp, shell removed

2 tablespoons Shirachi Sauce

1/4 cup Light Agave Nectar

Kosher salt

Cook’s note: The sauce can be prepared up to one hour ahead.

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, blend Shirachi Sauce and Agave Nectar until smooth. Add sea salt to taste. Adjust after tasting by adding Agave Nectar to sweeten or Shirachi to heat it up.
  2. Rinse the shrimp in cold water and pat dry with paper towels thoroughly.
  3. Heat a twelve-inch skillet over medium-high heat for several minutes. Add one tablespoon of olive oil, swirl oil around to coat pan. Add shrimp, stir quickly, for about two minutes. Remove from heat and place shrimp into prepared sauce. Toss lightly to coat shrimp. Serve immediately.
