About Maureen C. Berry

Maureen C. Berry is a visual artist and author of Salmon From Market to Plate cookbook and the producer and host of its complimentery podcast and speaking/cooking event, Green Fish Blue Oceans. Recent art exhibitions include GIRL ON FIRE, a six-piece watercolor/mixed series with an animated video, and WILD AFRICAN ADVENTURES IN ART, a sixty-four-piece immersive exhibition that includes photography, watercolors, ink, a short wildlife documentary film, and a B-roll video. She's working on an eighteen-piece watercolor series, BIRDS AND BOTANICALS. She's also writing the fourth draft of her memoir. The central question she's addressing in the book is how a cancer diagnosis helped her understand the importance of alchemizing trauma into strength. Maureen lives in Kentucky with Cooper, the wire fox terrier and her husband.
